On Sunday I like to golf, but my wife isn’t crazy about me doing it, so the earlier I go, the better. It’s all sports on Sunday, either playing or watching. At night we might go to dinner at Kushiyu, another sushi place that’s kind of a favorite, on Ventura Boulevard in Tarzana.

The BEST sushi ever!!! We are always here 🙂 try the: tony roll, green roll, salmon tempura, honey roll. We have celebrated pretty much every occasion here…anniversary, birthday, valentine’s… and we never regret it.
Shawn, the manager, is an awesome person. Very welcoming, professional, and sits you down on time. You won’t regret going here, enjoy!!!

The only sushi restaurant I’ve ever been to that deserves 5 stars (and I’ve been to a lot!) Where to start? Could it be the amazing quality of fish? The great customer service? The cleanliness of the restaurant? All these things combined make the best sushi experience you will ever have. Prices are fair considering the amazing quality food they have. I could eat at Kushiyu every day and not get tired of it. Just a note, their menu does not have pictures on it. The items I enjoy most are the Lemon roll, shishito peppers, the albacore sashimi plate and the sea bass! You must try the sea bass!
P.S. MAKE A RESERVATION IF YOU CAN! I usually call a few hours before I go in and they are very accommodating. And they always have the table ready on time.
